The primary responsibility of this role is to further MSI’s Goal: The prevention of unwanted births and its mission of ensuring an individual’s right to: children by choice, not chance

The Role:

The HR Advisors will contribute across all areas of HR providing support to the HR Business Partners, HR Specialists and, HR Programmes/Operations in the implementation of HR initiatives both in the UK and across the International and global MSI practice. You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to proactively identify areas where HR can add value. In this generalist role you will support HR initiatives and advise, guide and support team members and managers, providing high level people management support.

About you

To succeed in this role, you must have:

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of providing support and guidance to line managers (essential);
  • Experience in delivering excellent administrative and advisory support to a team of HR generalists and specialists, working to tight and changing deadlines and able to multitask and handle conflicting priorities (essential);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – comfortable networking with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation (essential);
  • Able and willing to travel nationally (or internationally if required) to support out based teams (desirable).

Qualifications and Training:

  • CIPD qualified or willingness to work towards (essential);
  • Good Microsoft Office package skills – MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (essential);
  • Skilled in the manipulation of HR database systems e.g. Sage, PeopleSoft, Oracle (MSI use Agresso).
