The Role:

 

Reporting to the Global Financial Controller, the post holder will lead Global Support Office finance, with primary responsibility for the financial & management reporting of MSI’s Global Support Office and for UK Shared Services including purchase ledger, expenses and payroll for both the MSI Global Support Office and MS UK. This role will be responsible for a team of 11.

The Global Support Office includes not only staff based in MSI’s London office, but also staff based overseas and supporting global functions, including in the support offices in the US and Australia.

About you

To succeed in this role, you must have:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, other relevant qualification) (essential)
  • Financial & management reporting experience (essential)
  • Systems experience, preferably including Q&A (essential) and SUN (desirable)
  • Experience working in an international donor funded organisation (desirable)
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Use initiative to solve problems
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good communicator with internal, external, finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Responsive to changing priorities and demands with a customer service approach
  • Supportive and flexible team leader
