The Role:


The International HR Advisor will contribute across all areas of International Operations providing support to the International HR Business Partner, HR Specialists and HR Programmes/Operations in the implementation of HR initiatives. The job holder will work collaboratively with key stakeholders in the Global Support Office and Country Programmes to proactively identify areas where HR can add value. This is a generalist role with a particular focus on international employment including the HR management of international assignees.

About you

To succeed in this role, you must have:

Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience managing a range of people processes, including expatriate management, within an HR team at a similar level, in an organisation with multi-site and global reach (essential).
  • Knowledge and experience of global employment and mobility practices.
  • Experience in delivering excellent administrative and advisory support to a team of HR generalists and specialists, working to tight and changing deadlines and able to multitask and handle conflicting priorities (essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – comfortable networking with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation (essential)
  • Able and willing to travel nationally (or internationally if required) to support outbased teams

Qualifications and Training:

  • CIPD qualified or working towards
  • Strong Microsoft Office package skills – MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (essential)
  • Skilled in the manipulation of HR database systems e.g. Sage, PeopleSoft, Oracle (MSI use Agresso).

Salary: £30,500-35,000 dependent on experience
