Interim Clinical Services Manager | Abortion Care

Location: Manchester

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum pro rata

6 – 12 month Fixed Term Contract for immediate start

About the Role

The main priorities will be:

  • To support the current CSM in Manchester in the delivery of the CSM role and objectives.
  • To work closely with current CSM to provide consistency of Service Delivery during periods of Absence, Holidays and Training.
  • To provide strong leadership to the Clinical Team at all times
  • To steer specific/allocated service improvement plans and team personal development plans.
  • To contribute to company-wide projects and improvement plans.

 

About You

To be successful in this position you will have experience leading a clinical team, commercial awareness with a strong focus on clinical excellent, and also meet the following criteria:

    • Registered Practicing General Nurse or Registered Midwife
    • Pro-Choice on Abortion
    • Clinical and Managerial experience at senior band 7 or equivalent level
    • Experience of managing high volume client pathways in a clinical environment
    • Proven track record of leadership and able to manage a team to include, identifying people, developing potential (via constructive feedback, development and encouragement), and performance management
    • Demonstrates awareness of the importance of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
    • Communicate effectively, verbally, in writing and in electronic formats
    • Team enabling – gets the best results from individuals and teams enabling understanding of what is required and ensuring the team work toward a common goal
    • Influencing change – communicates clearly and effectively, deploying a range of different techniques to win support from others and bring about change
    • Ability and willingness to learn about MSI, the partnership, and humanitarian issues and apply this in a commercially focused way
    • Quality approach and focus on achieving best practice
