Full time: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £28,471+

About the Role

Reporting to the Clinical Registered Manager, the main purpose of this role is to provide excellent client care in theatre. ODP’s will work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and Midwives, Healthcare Assistants, Surgeons and Anaesthetists to assist in the management and organisation of the operating theatre and participate in the supervision, education and training of more junior staff, demonstrating sound clinical judgement and expertise in the operating room.

  • Qualified Operating Department Practitioner
  • Advanced scrub practitioner qualification in perioperative practice or corporate compentencies Post registration experience
  • Experience of using clinical judgement to make decisions
  • Capability of using evidence based practice in treatment
